Movie Review: Fast & Furious 6
Fast and Furious 6 still have what it takes to be an action thriller and continue to remain a satisfying thrill ride with many jaw-dropping, intense, outrageous action sequences which many action junkies would definitely love to see.
The presence of Tyrese (Roman) in the film occasionally brings laughter to the audience and the character interactions in the team make the film quite entertaining to watch. Fast 6 also done a good job in establishing film continuity this time around and finally managed to connect some of the missing dots together.
However, the film offers nothing new to the series and the plot contained a tad too many contrivances this time around to be believable or even logical (but very cool nonetheless). Some of the characters in the film just make everything seemed too convenient and seemed to fall into place at the right place, at the right time.
Although Fast 6 may not be the best in the series (Fast 5 is still undoubtedly the best), but it builds on from its previous success and remains a commendable sequel than its other predecessors.
Note: Finally, we get to know why Toretto appeared in Tokyo near the end of Tokyo Drift.Hopefully, Fast 7 would be the final instalment of the series.
Rating: 7.5/10
